East Coast Podiatry is the parent company behind this new venture — a Singapore-based startup being founded and built from within our organisation. With an established healthcare business as our launchpad, we’re creating a new software platform designed to help companies improve employee performance and motivation through engaging, data-connected experiences. You’ll be joining at an early stage, working closely with the founding team to shape the product from the ground up while testing and iterating with real businesses.
We are looking for a curious, technically-minded individual to join a small founding team working on an innovative internal product focused on gamifying workplace performance through a video game-style app experience.
This is not a traditional role where someone simply completes assigned tasks. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the product lead and contribute directly to shaping early-stage software that may later scale into a full commercial platform.
The role will focus on rapid prototyping, experimentation, and connecting real business data into interactive software concepts.
What you will be doing:
• Assisting with rapid software prototyping using modern AI-assisted development tools (“vibe coding”)
• Helping translate product ideas into working interactive prototypes
• Working with APIs to connect real business data into prototype applications
• Testing and refining product features based on real-world clinic workflows
• Helping iterate quickly on UI interactions and product concepts
Skills we are looking for:
• Good understanding of APIs and how software systems communicate with each other
• Ability to read and understand API documentation
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON responses, and API requests
• Curiosity about AI-assisted coding tools and rapid prototyping platforms (base44)
• Interest in product design, user experience, and experimentation
• Comfortable learning quickly and figuring things out independently
Ideal background:
• Computer science, software engineering, full-stack development
• Some exposure to APIs, scripting, or basic web/app development
• Interest in startups, building products from zero, and experimenting with new tools
Why this project is unique:
You will work directly alongside a small founding-style team, building a new product from the ground up. Instead of maintaining existing systems, they will help prototype entirely new ideas and see how software concepts evolve from idea to working product.
This role offers the chance to learn extremely quickly, experiment with modern development tools, and contribute meaningfully to a real product in a short period of time.
