Our company supplies niche interior furnishing items to hospitals and other healthcare providers; the same items are also provided to retail customers

We are a local SME with growing businesses with major local hospitals over the past 3 years; with the experience and track record gained, we are well-positioned to be a bigger player in the fast-growing healthcare industry. We are rapidly transitioning from a retail-focused player to an institutional healthcare provider and are rapidly acquiring new overseas supplier base.  

One of our on-going project is with a new local hospital and requires hands-on, energetic young people who are willing to commit at least 6 months to see the project to delivery stage. As with real-life projects, the scope of activities is wide and it requires staff to constantly adapt at new challenges and take on many new activities. 


Job Description

Our Company has openings for 2 contract and 1 full time project support staff, suitable for school leavers and those awaiting for further studies. Minimal experience needed as On-the-job training is part of job. Those with experience in interior furnishing are also welcome to apply for contract or full-time posts

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in implementing project activities as follows:

1. Site-measurement of required product

2. Liaise with suppliers to ensure compliance with hospital requirements

3. Arrange logistics support for delivery 

4. Some hands-on work is required at delivery stage of a project eg climb a ladder to reach 2.5m height to measure or hang curtains, loading carton boxes, sorting products

5. May involve some overseas travel 

6. 5-day week but occasional Saturday, with compensation off day

7. Company located in central area not far from MRT

8. Will be taught to handle quotation preparation for new project tenders, research for new overseas suppliers, understand basic legal documentation terms

9. Project documentation management


Requirement

1. Only apply if you can commit at least 6 months from Sep/Oct/Nov onwards

2. Physically fit and not afraid to do hands-on work and climb 4 steps of ladder 

3. Must have can-do, hands-on attitude

4. Other basic skill needed: Able to use spreadsheet on a computer, read/write English (optional Mandarin) 

5. Diligent and not careless, self-discipline as working in hospital environment. 

6. Have patience to find out things for yourself and for the team

Salary: For contract post: $1000 to $1500 + CPF, for those with relevant experience : let us know your expectation 

- Singaporean, PR or current Work Permit Holders from Malaysia may apply

- for contract post, transition to full-time salary is possible after contract period ends
