Job Description

We're looking for an QHSE Engineer Intern to support our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental efforts. You will be gaining practical experience and exposure through working on assignments, supporting audits, analyzing safety data, and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a great opportunity to learn from industry professionals and see how QHSE principles are applied in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

What will you do:

  • Support in QHSE Compliance: Assist in monitoring compliance with internal and external QHSE standards, regulations, and policies.
  • Risk Assessments: Aid in the identification, assessment, and documentation of risks and hazards in operations.
  • Audit and Inspection Assistance: Support internal audits and site inspections; help document findings and follow-up actions.
  • Documentation Management: Help maintain and update QHSE records, policies, and training logs.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to QHSE performance, reporting on key metrics, trends, and areas of improvement.
  • Training and Awareness: Assist in organizing and delivering safety training sessions or awareness campaigns for employees. Contribute to safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Incident Reporting & Investigation: Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Environmental Initiatives: Support environmental monitoring, waste tracking, and sustainability reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and assist in implementing improvements in QHSE procedures and practices.

What are we looking for:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering (any field) or a related field.
  • Strong interest in workplace safety, quality systems, and environmental responsibility.
  • Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
