Technical Skill/Experience:
- Minimum 6 to 9 years experience in java development with last 3 to 5 years as an architect
- Strong Core Java, J2EE skills (Servlets, Java networking), JSF, EJB 3.0, with hands-on experience in developing enterprise software applications
- Strong ability to convert translate a problem statement into technical architecture and implementation
- Should have been as Technical Lead/Architect of an enterprise system/project
- Development and deployment experience on java application servers, ie, WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss
- Usage of debugging and code test tools
- Exposure to full SDLC essential and exposure to enterprise software Product development desirable
- Hands-on experience and ability to provide technical direction in the areas of Web Services, SOA, BPEL, and associated technologies.
- Define and ensure adherence to design and coding standards-compliant with the architecture
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. Good problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team leader as well as an individual contributor
- Demonstrated experience in business application design, service-oriented architecture, and implementation of Network Management / ITIL projects and JAVA J2EE. -
Experience with Oracle ADF is preferred but not required
- Experience with implementing AIAS for Singapore Public Sector is preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive the delivery of a project (Delivery/Maintenence/Testing)
- You should provide technical leadership to the project team to perform design to deployment-related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
- Enhances existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for optimization or refactoring - Generates technical documentation as well as a unit and functional tests
- Mentors junior team members in industry best practices, procedures, and concepts
Qualifications:
- A university degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science
