Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the team by performing secondary research to support new product development
  • Assist in new technology landscaping and literature review
  • Identification and clarification of product requirements including appropriate performance, safety, and regulatory parameters
  • Work with the team to prepare new technology insights relevant to fruit processing

Assist the team with technical data management

  • Help to compile benchmark quality and performance metrics for products in the DSI pipeline
  • Help to collate and organize technical data for monitoring and tracking product development processes
  • Assist the team in performing comparative analysis of the outcomes of various process optimization trials

Assist the team with scientific communication

  • Assist in creation of professional product briefs or supporting datasheets for sharing with internal and external potential clients

REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

- Working towards, or completed a bachelor’s degree in food chemistry, process technology or engineering

- Basic data processing and analytics skills using SPSS or similar statistical tools

- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint)

- Solution-oriented, passionate, and proactive attitude

- Good command of written & spoken English

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Self-motivated, responsible & can work independently as well as collaboratively

- Prior internship experience with global organizations is an advantage
