As a software engineer intern in Dive Analytics, your role will span across the full product development lifecycle — you will gain experience on Frontend, Backend, DevOps and exposure to machine learning and game development. On top of that, you will gain exposure into the local education industry, working on our suite of educational software that are used by local MOE schools. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the company's tech founder to gain invaluable insights on how to build scalable and secure applications.
This is a highly rewarding role as your contributions will directly impact the lives of our users - teachers, students and parents. Interns with outstanding performance will be considered for a full-time position at Dive Analytics.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with backend languages and framework (PHP, Laravel, Python, NodeJS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
- Bonus:
- Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. React / Vue) is a bonus
- Experience with Git & Linux Administration
- Experience with AWS/GCP
- Experience with Web Game Development (Three.JS or CreateJS)
Responsibilities
- Support tech founder in the design, development and maintaining of existing software applications
- Ability to iterate quickly and improve on our application according to customer needs and feedback
- Improve on UI/UX of existing applications where necessary
Requirements
- Students who are currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Preferably students in their second, third and final year of studies
