Developer intern will work with team members from across the organization on a variety of projects touching web and mobile development. This candidate must be able to contribute to the definitions of requirements, work closely with the engineering manager to define the solution and be involved in all phrases of SDLC
Key responsibilities and accountabilities: (or ‘Duties’)
Maintain and improve website
Participate throughout the SDLC
Write clean object-oriented code
Contribute actively in functional scoping and interaction design
Frontend develop and integration using framework (.Net/ Laravel/ NodeJS)
Backend development using backend CMS (Umbracoc/ WordPress/ Drupal)
Perform unit and end-to-end testing
Optimize website for faster loading time
Collaborate with developers, project managers and designers to deliver high quality website
Write functional requirements documents and guess
Qualifications/Skills:
Diploma from Polytechnic, University degree or Postgraduate degree
Proficient with HTML/CSS/JS
Knowledge of backend development (PHP/ .net)
Understand UX and translate it fdesign to code
Knowledge of Git repository (GitLab / GitHub / Bitbucket)
Knowledge of could hosting (Azure/AWS)
Familiar with Linux & Windows server environment
