Datgel – Assistant Software Engineer

Datgel is a software company, we develop data management applications using MS technology and resell software. Our clients are geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists, and related professions.

We are looking for an Assistant Software Engineer to join our niche engineering software company. The role will be part time permanent, and during university holidays you can work full time.

Scope of tasks
* Windows desktop application, office add-ins in VB.NET,C# and VBA
* Web apps development / front end using HTML, CSS, C#, ASP.NET MVC
* Report and database design
* Technical support to end users
* Internal systems admin, on-premise and Azure

Requirements
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Personable and confident, can talk to people from around the world
* Attention to detail
* Willingness to learn new skills, and ability to learn independently
* Currently studying or recent graduate of a Software Engineering degree
* MS .NET desktop apps - C# or VB.NET
* SQL language, and experience with SQL Server and Access
* CSS and HTML

Little Details
You can work from home or from our shared office space. Salary range SG$ 7 to 12/hr, depending on skills/experience. Please note, only short-listed candidates will be notified. No agencies please.
