Daiwa Capital Markets Singapore Limited is a leading global bank that provides investment banking services to our clients, including top corporations, financial institutions and governments worldwide. We are looking for a full-time intern to join our Cyber Security Operations team. Under the mentoring of senior members of the team, the intern will help in projects which will enhance and optimize the daily Cyber Security operations for the Asia-Oceania region.

Job Description

• Perform evaluation, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of security services including OS, and software platforms
• Participate in our short term cyber security optimization projects, example areas are:
• Cyber Risk Reporting
• Vulnerability Management
• Security Incident Response
• Security Analytics
• Cyber Intelligence

Requirements:

• Current Singaporean undergraduate or graduate student, majoring in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science or Information Technology
• Knowledge in Linux, Windows and/or Network security will be advantageous
• Knowledge with SIEM (Security information and event management) and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) would be advantageous
• Programming skills (eg. Python, Perl or Shell Programming) strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic in pursuing a career in Cyber Security
