Daimler South East Asia – Intern – Parts Logistics Asia Pacific

Daimler South East Asia (DSEA), located in Singapore, is an important sales organisation under Daimler in Asia Pacific. DSEA plays a pivotal role for the business development in Singapore and General Distributor markets in South Asia. Daimler’s activities in this region include passenger cars, commercial vehicles and financial services.

Job Description

• Alignment of warehouse operation processes and KPIs in line with headquarter direction and goals
• Compilation of monthly logistic KPI reports for 11 warehouses within APAC. Submission of report to Headquarter in Germany.
• Maintain and develop the logistic KPI dashboard. Provide automation to improve efficiency and minimize data processing time
• Co-ordination of APAC Quarterly Meeting and workshops. Liaise and source for vendors, suppliers, and service providers for GSP/OGAP Meetings and events.
• Project support for ongoing supply chain projects within APAC. Collation of information, market updates and survey results from within APAC region.

Job Requirements

• Pursuing Degree in Business Management/Administration or Industrial Engineering
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage busy schedules, establish office systems and ability to work accurately while maintaining high standards under pressure to meet deadlines
• Possess good communication skills, tactful and diplomatic
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Shared-point system
