Daimler Financial Services, Africa & Asia Pacific Ltd – Intern – Risk Management (Asset Backed Securities)

Our candidate will be part of a multinational team and actively support the set-up of Asset Back Securities (ABS) in the Risk Management AAP region.

• Together with Treasury, DFS HQ and the markets, we are partners on same level to ensure a successful roll-out of ABS projects and existing ABS platforms for the AAP region with focus on DFS internal ABS processes.
• Actively support ABS projects and operations focusing on the internal setup at AAP entities by applying best practices from the regional office and market perspective.
• Engage DFS AAP markets for the most effective and efficient DFS internal ABS setup by establishing consistent and robust ABS processes.
• Consult and support local process owners and stakeholders to achieve a high level of process standardization and optimization.
• Support local markets on the local project setup to the local project team.

Qualifications – External

• Preferred basic knowledge in financial services industry/banks and relevant experience in ABS
• Basic knowledge of programming in Excels VB scripts
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Willing to work in an international and intercultural fast moving environment
• Keen-learner, analytical, self-driven, good level of self-confidence and ability to work independently
• Highly motivated and willing to learn
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Multi-linguistic abilities would be an added advantage
