Dabao Solutions Pte Ltd – Mobile App Development Intern

The Dabao App (https://thedabaoapp.com) is a mobile app on iOS and Android that allows you to browse, order, and pay for dabao-ed food: so you can just collect your food and go.

You will work on the frontend of the Dabao App platform, which is built with ReactJS using the NextJS framework (https://nextjs.org/), with Ionic React (https://ionicframework.com/) components for the mobile version. Your main responsibilities would be improving the interface of the loading interface for storeowners, and the browsing interface for consumers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

(Gentle introduction into NextJS, Algolia, etc. will be provided for React developers who are not familiar with these technologies)

- Build components using React

- Optimise pages with NextJS SSG functions

- Integrate on-page search with Algolia

- Add Ionic React components

- Compile native binaries with Capacitor

- Write functions to populate page using Firebase admin using ISR functions (incremental static regeneration)

- Use Firestore to retrieve data

- Write simple Firebase functions

Requirements:

- Current university student or recent graduate

- Prior development work experience preferred

- Proficiency with ReactJS is a must

- Experience with NextJS preferred

- Experience with Firebase preferred

- Ability to learn new libraries quickly

- Resourcefulness and problem solving
