Dress Code

Casual Wear (shorts and slippers allowed)

Salary

  • Commission rate of 10% for every successful deal
  • Range from $40 to $130 per successful deal, $600 to $2000 per month

Time Commitment:

  • Full-Timer - Five days per week (Monday to Friday), Office hours from 0930 to 1830. Might also be based on the operating hours of the tuition centres.
  • Part-timer - Minimum 10 hour per week, require reporting to the office.

Cudy headquarters is currently located in the centre of Singapore's downtown core at Singapore Management University's co-working office managed by the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Job Description

Sales Associate Intern (Full Time / Part Time) (Commission Based Pay) - Join An Edtech Startup


Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products and services using solid arguments and a script to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Go door-to-door to establish relationship with potential customers and schedule meetings with key decision makers with clients
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction of clients
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the market potential, track sales and status reports
  • Lead tracking with CRM software
  • Timely follow-up with potential customers through phone calls, sms, instant messaging and email
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of best sales practices and promotional trends
  • Gather and analyse client’s feedback and timely reporting to supervisor
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information of product and service features 
  • Occasionally have extended working hours to drive sales and meet sales objectives and goals
  • Cross sell products and services
  • Build productive trust relationships with clients
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. changing the design of sales collaterals, planning sales activities and initiatives)
  • Work effectively in Agile/Scrum development process

Job Requirements & Credentials:

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Professional proficiency in English, and conversational proficiency Mother Tongue language
  • Basic Mathematical calculation skills
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Forms and Google Documents
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Resilience and comfortable taking risks and operating in uncertain environments
