Located a five-minute bus ride from Bishan MRT, Covet Coffee is a new cafe with operations expected to begin in June and we are looking for interns to help us expand our market knowledge and develop our market capabilities. The intern will get to learn more about the coffee industry and generate new insights into it.
If you like coffee, and you want to find out more about what’s out there in the market while getting paid for it, or if you have other heavy commitments but you still want to do an internship during this period, this internship is for you.
Research topics based on your assignment every week, including competitive pricing and practices across different facets of the industry
After conducting your research, or any data collection, develop insights and recommend a solution for our business given the market condition
Requirements:
You must have your own laptop, it will not be provided
Preferably studying in polytechnic or University or about to
Able to consolidate information in both textual and table forms
Able to work independently without supervision or direction
Qualities we are looking for:
Strong interest in coffee: you may not be crazy about coffee but you care enough to consolidate and solidify your knowledge of what is out there
Proactive: you do not just work within the scope of what is given to you but also what you think is relevant to the scope
Fluent and coherent: as you will be required to present the information and the insights that you have gotten from what you have researched, you need to be able to do so in a way that the shareholders can understand.
Disciplined and responsible: you need to know how to set aside time for yourself to do work that you promise, and work needs to be thorough, so you need to put in the effort to dig out information that will not be easily available.
Benefits:
Flexible working hours -- work 3-4 days per week or even work on this after a day’s of work (provided there’s no conflict of interest), can also easily accommodate an activities packed schedule
Stipend: SGD 400 - 800, depending on arrangement
Remote, you can work from home, as long as the required information is presented promptly
