Our art studio is located in Singapore leading contemporary art gallery only a few minutes walk from Bukit Merah Central and Bus Interchange. With 7m ceiling height of exhibition and studio space, as well as large display windows, we are simultaneously a contemporary art gallery and a studio for learning fine art techniques.Our cutting-edge art courses and workshops are suitable for students of all ages and skill levels. We are seeking a multi-talented intern who will work closely with our small team. Possibility of full-time employment will be offered depending on individual performance. He/She will be included in all aspects of what is required from creative education planning and coaching (both online and onsite, kids and adults). Applicants need not possess formal art education certificates but will be required to submit a portfolio of their work that demonstrates their artistic capabilities (drawing/painting/digital media).
We value individuals with the right attitude and will consider people coming from all aspects of life. No prior professional experience required but the applicant must demonstrate strong drive and interest in the industry, possess an open mind and willingness to learn.
Personality
- Enjoy working with children, teens and adults
- Passionate about sharing and teaching visual arts
- Good command in English
- Confident and enjoy talking to people
Job Scope
- Teaching: Communication of concepts; Demonstrations; Sharing knowledge of contemporary art practices; Creative Lesson planning
- Basic housekeeping to make sure the space is neat and presentable
- Ensure proper upkeep of materials
Requirements:
- Will require at least a 3 months commitment period
- Must be able to work on Weekends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and skills pertaining to art practices
- Knowledge and skills pertaining to online maintenance and management
Working days: 5 days week
Working hours:
- Wednesday: 10.30am – 6.30pm
- Thursday: 10.30am – 6.30pm
- Friday: 10.30am – 6.30pm
- Saturday: 10.30am – 6.30pm
- Sunday: 10.30am – 6.30pm
