ConnectedHealth Pte Ltd – Technology Research Intern

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our technology team to assist in development of plans for integration of our SugoSure diabetes management system to various external modules

This internship will help you acquire knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem around chronic disease management, with focus on secure storage of clinical data. ConnectedHealth’s SugoSure system is currently a stand-alone clinical data management system (which also incorporates an Electronic Medical Record). ConnectedHealth plans to integrate this selectively with other systems to support SugoSure’s use cases and enhance the system’s go-to-market positioning e.g.

* To lab test providers to automate lab result uploading

* To EMR providers to streamline physician workflow and gain benefits from co-marketing with EMR technology partners

* To Singapore’s National Electronic Health Record system to support billing/subsidy claims by Physicians in relation to use of SugoSure

* To large Hospital Information Systems e.g. Allscripts where this is required for large contracts (subject to commercial negotiations)

* To certain third-party modules to provide additional functionality to SugoSure using external technologies e.g. food image recognition and calorie classification for Lifestyle monitoring; medication databases for Physician portal functionality

Key responsibilities

* Identify the key counterparties in each area of integration and profile their systems from both technical as well as functional perspective

* Document a range of integration approaches with the different counterparties, evaluate ease of implementation and impact on functionality

* Assess relevant commercial considerations relating to integration (e.g. benefits of co-marketing with EMR providers)

* Work with ConnectedHealth management to summarise findings in a final project report which also incorporates a roadmap and project plan to implement the finally agreed approach.
