Computhink is a Programming School for Kids
Our children will need to have important Life Skills such as Computational and Logical Thinking as they grow up into an automated and digitalised future.
Computhink students will learn to think logically and solve problems with computer programs in our structured coding classes suitable for ages 7 to 16.
We are looking for internship candidates who can research and develop programming teaching material for our students.
You are a person who loves technology or have worked in IT before, can write code, develop working programs and love trying out new APIs, Framework and Platforms.
You are enthusiastic, a positive role model and love working with kids and young learners of the ages of 7 to 16.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop new class curriculum, content and exercises for students. Review and improve on current content/ curriculum.
- Manage, maintain and develop in-house systems such as the e-Learning Portal, Sharepoint, Vimeo, Student Management System, Team Password Managers and others.
- Manage Parent-Teacher relationships and provide a wholesome learning environment for students.
- Lead and conceptualise projects to engage and educate the public on why programming classes is relevant for their children.
- Assist in Business Development and lead the conceptualisation, brainstorming and execution of internal and external events such as Coding Hackathons
- Teach Programming and Programming Concepts in small group classes for kids aged 7 to 16.
Qualifications
- Students who are studying for a Degree in an Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Science related field.
- Good programming background with a positive learning attitude.
- Experience with working with young children will be a plus.
