Computhink – Programmer Trainer

Share your love of programming with young kids and inspire them to join the exciting world of technology!

The ideal candidate is one who keeps themselves updated on new technology, is energetic and self-motivated to try out new things. You are motivated, independent and a self-starter who loves being a role model for young kids age 7 to 16.

You will build your technical skill-set, explore new coding libraries and frameworks, write new curriculum content, and keep your skills current.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Principal and interfaces with students, parents and external training partners. Computhink is a Programming School for Kids. We provide beginner to advanced regular weekly coding classes for young learners.

This position supports partial work from home arrangements during the COVID-19 period

2. Responsibilities

Candidate to be involved in:

Curriculum Development of Class Materials

• Evaluate new programming libraries and framework and program prototypes as part of teaching material
• Develop teaching content and materials in the form of slides, videos, programming activities and others.

Trainer and Teaching Responsibilities

• Teach young students how to code using block programming or text-based languages (Python, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript etc) in a fun and engaging way
• Classroom Management and Administration duties

3. Education Qualifications

Minimum Diploma Holder in an IT-related field.

Non-IT graduates with strong programming skills may apply
