Illustrator / Graphic Designer - Project-based (Branding, Mascot / Avatar Illustration)
We have recently launched Commun1ty, a hyperlocal neighbourhood app designed to digitise communities in Singapore. Our platform helps neighbours discover, engage, and build their local communities, while enabling small businesses to digitise and connect with local customers.
In the market, there are several apps that have a more distinct brand identity and clear positioning for their users. To make Commun1ty stand out, we must enhance the app's branding and identity, primarily through the creation of a brand mascot, custom user avatars, and other brand-relevant illustrations.
We are looking for an illustrator/graphic designer to help us with the requirements above. The project will require the following:
- Conduct a brand assessment (e.g., Review current branding; Review competitor branding)
- Strengthen Commun1ty brand identity and design guidelines through:
- Brand mascot
- User avatars
- Custom illustrations and images for specific features/screens
- Depending on the situation, we can expand to include other branding elements such as: Refreshed color palettes, typography, custom iconography
This will be a project-based endeavor. Additional details and working arrangements can be discussed further with shortlisted candidates.
