Job Description

Position Goals

The Business Development Manager (SEA) is responsible for developing new business opportunities and revenue streams within SEA based on two key products. This position will report directly to the Regional Director (Asia) and has a dotted line reporting to the responsible staff of assigned departments or projects.

Duties include:

  • Develop new Business Opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, Salesforce updates and follow-ups, site inspection, contract negotiations and license agreement drafting and closing.
  • Achieve sales target for new schools/clients’ recruitment
  • Build, appoint, coordinate and support Channel Partners to develop new prospects.

Other Duties

  1. Seek new and enhance existing relationships with entities and partners in the Education industry
  2. Attend and host Events and Conferences with the aim of expanding business network.

 

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position (such as education, marketing, or business management) from an accredited university.

 

Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or in a relevant role for at least 3 consecutive years
  • Have a consistent track record of meeting or achieving sales targets
  • Profound existing connections with institutes and organizations in the Education industry
  • A thorough understanding of the SEA international student market
