We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Aviation Logistics Intern to support our warehouse logistics team. This internship offers hands-on experience in aviation logistics operations, performance monitoring, and process improvement initiatives within a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, track, and analyse operational key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cargo handling times, manpower deployment, service accuracy, and turnaround rates.
Assist in preparing operational performance reports and dashboards for management review.
Identify operational patterns, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement based on job order data and KPI results.
Propose and present possible workflow enhancements and process improvement ideas to supervisors and management.
Gain exposure to and learn about aviation logistics operations, warehouse safety regulations, cargo handling requirements, and process workflows.
Understand the fundamentals of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) used for cargo tracking, job management, and inventory control.
Work closely with the warehouse operations team to understand processes, operational challenges, and system data points.
Support any other administrative, data-related, or operational improvement tasks as assigned.
Interns who can work locally on site in our warehouse, with experience or knowledge in logistics, freight and warehousing.
Full-time NITEC/Higher NITEC student OR a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree or diploma from any of the following eligible institutions below:
