City Nomads (www.citynomads.com) is designed for people who are curious about the world and share an appreciation for the good things in life. We’re on a never ending quest to discover the best urban culture has to offer, many a time via the less well-trodden and invariably, more exciting paths.
Launched in May 2012 as a humble information provider for food and beverage events in Singapore, the natural evolution from listings and the occasional opinion piece to one of Singapore’s most-trusted sources of what’s happening in the city have provided us with the ability to start doing the same with other Asian cities. Besides covering food and drink, arts and culture, nightlife and entertainment in the cities we are based in, City Nomads features curated content on regional and international travel, as well as events around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the editorial team to create web-friendly editorial content in a timely manner, including but not limited to reviews, list articles, interviews, profiles, custom content, and opinion pieces.
- Maintenance of articles on website, including updating of articles, image curation and formatting etc.
- Attend events such as tastings, product launches, theatre productions, press conferences etc.
- Curate and create images and videos for City Nomads' social media platforms
- Assist with logistics of company events
- Skills Required
Skills Required
- An understanding of the City Nomads brand and editorial policy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tell a story
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage one's own workload and deadlines
- Photography and videography ability a bonus

- Willing to learn and to take initiative
- Able to eat and drink anything (food and drink is a big part of what we do)
- Curious and passionate about life and living
