Job Description

This is an unique opportunity to shadow a senior  research analyst; and better understand the day-to-day workings of a sell-side  equities research analyst.
This is a  flexible internship programme whereby the intern is expected to come in twice a  week from December 2017 to end January 2018. As such,  this internship is better suited for Year 3/4s who have already completed their  first internship.
Responsibilities
Help in sector specific research - newsflow, channel checks,  industry data etc.
Maintain company  financial models and sector data bases
Attend and interpret company briefings
Respond to requests for data, information and calls from  internal/external clients
Requirements
Preferably Accounting degree, and has demonstrated aptitude in  ACCT 224 Financial Reporting & Analysis. Must be able to work with large  amount of data and numbers.
Work  independently and under pressure; resourceful; results-driven and ability to  suggest new approaches based on data and insight
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
