CIMB is looking for FinTech interns to support the digitisation efforts as part of the group’s Forward23+ strategy.
Prospective interns may be required to work both independently and collaboratively in an organization with a flat hierarchy.
You will have strong support from our team members while working in a highly unstructured environment.
You will be gain exposure on the application of fintech technologies to a range of financial products and be involved in the end-to-end process from ideation to execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the day-to-day business management and intelligence gathering activities
- Evaluate and ideate fintech partnerships ideas across a range of banking products
- Be involved in designing end-to-end product roadmaps from partnership sourcing to product launch
- Manage project timelines and milestone with the product solutions team
- Coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, fintech partners, vendors, risk , IT, etc
- Analyse the underlying technology system integration between the bank and our partners
- Be involved in the execution of automation initiatives within the bank
- Build analytical dashboards to generate insights; recommend improvements to optimise existing processes
- Be involved in ad hoc activities and participate in other reporting requirements
Preferred background
- A postgraduate or recent postgraduate from a reputable university, majoring in Fintech, business management, engineering, IT
- Good knowledge and understanding of the fintech space in the ASEAN region
- Basic understanding of programming language is a plus, but not required
- Minimum of 3 months full time commitment
