Job Summary:

The Service Crew is responsible for providing friendly customer service, preparing churros and simple food items, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the outlet. This role ensures customers have a positive and consistent Churros Republic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately

  • Recommend menu items, promotions, and add-ons

  • Handle customer enquiries and feedback politely

  • Ensure a positive dining and takeaway experience

Food Preparation & Operations

  • Prepare churros, sauces, toppings, and simple food items according to SOP

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely (fryer, warmer, POS system, etc.)

  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are met

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Cashiering & POS

  • Process cash, PayNow, and card payments accurately

  • Issue receipts and ensure correct change is given

  • Assist with end-of-shift cash reconciliation when required

Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas

  • Follow daily opening and closing cleaning checklists

  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain overall outlet hygiene

Stock Handling

  • Assist in checking, topping up, and rotating stock (FIFO)

  • Inform supervisor of low stock or damaged items

  • Help with stock receiving and storage when required

Team Support

  • Work closely with supervisors and teammates

  • Follow instructions and SOPs set by management

  • Be punctual, well-groomed, and in proper uniform

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required (training provided)

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable standing for long hours

  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

  • Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
