Christian Dior Couture Singapore – Logistics Intern

As part of the Marketing Communications Team in Singapore, your role is to support the overall PR & Advertising strategies locally. You will be empowered to exercise creative thinking to solve problems independently and develop new ideas, and will be responsible to see them through. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to adapt to the fast-moving daily tasks is crucial.

Logistic Process Management 

• Monitor direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Handle day-to-day stock management in system for stock inbound/outbound, stock movements, shipment process and activities and events such as trunk shows, mark downs, stock destructions and Family sales
• Coordinate regional rebalancing and achieving the KPI defined
• Participate in monthly Store-in-charge meeting to update on inventory and logistics operation issues if any.
• Liaison person with head office, other countries, warehouse and retail stores to fulfill logistics operations
• Management of CITES application to support stores sales of exotic leather goods.

Service Provider Management

• Ensure the effective and efficient logistics procedure for Singapore. Manage the vendor to provide the logistics support for retail and head office 
• Level to comply with Dior standards.

Monthly records and reports

• Logistics and warehouse activities and cost reports
• Monthly stock reconciliation and stock variance reports

Projects

• Assist in organizing Family Sales
• Benchmark processes against best practices and implement continuous improvements
• Lead the green initiatives for Logistics and Warehouse operations.
