The mission of CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School is the creation of a Christ-centred school community where all work together for the promotion of truth, justice, freedom, and love, with special reference to the needs of persons who are disadvantaged in any way.
The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:
- Reception duties: Handle calls, walk-in enquiries, delivery, school mails, parcels dispatch.
- Preparation and verification of documents (eg prepare Staff Monthly Attendance Sheet and track their daily attendance.
- Maintaining and updating of data records.
- Compilation of statistics.
- Filing and typing
- Drafting of correspondences
- Attending to pupils who are unwell.
- Any other duties as assigned by School
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Good team player with a high level of initiative.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Mature individual with a pleasant disposition
- Good customer service skills
- High level of initiative and able to work independently
- First aid knowledge.
- Ability to speak English and Mandarin.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Thursday: 8.45am to 5.45pm inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
Fridays: 9am to 5.30pm inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
There may be rostering of working hours and it may be 7am to 4 pm with 0.5hr lunch break or 9am to 6pm with 0.5hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
