CHIJSC serves children and youth from diverse racial groups and religions. Job Description

Role Description 

The Programme Associate is essential in executing enriching and impactful programmes for the children (primary school levels) at our outreach centres. The incumbent will conduct a set of children’s programmes covering subjects such as life skills, art, sports, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). He/She must be flexible, passionate, and dedicated to fostering children's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery:

  • Lead and facilitate structured activities for children
  • Adapt activities to cater to different learning needs and energy levels of the children
  • Prepare materials required for the session

Children Engagement:

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages participation
  • Ensure children’s well-being and safety during activities

Programme Evaluation:

  • Provide feedback on sessions and suggest improvements to enhance the engagement
  • Carry out programme evaluation to assess learning and satisfaction
  • Communicate any observations or recommendations to support continuous programme development.

Requirements

  • GCE ‘A’ Level and above preferably, or Minimally GCE ‘O’ Level with relevant experience
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Passion for working with children and creating a positive impact
  • Ability to lead and manage a group of children effectively
  • Ability to respond quickly and adapt lesson delivery accordingly
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in facilitation, teaching or working with children
  • Able to commit up to 3 months or more

Working Hours

  • Weekdays afternoon (adhoc) at our Outreach Centres from
  • 2:30pm to 5:30pm or;
  • 3:00pm to 6:00pm
