Social Media Intern (Part-time / Hybrid)


Role Overview

Position: Social Media Intern (Part-Time / Hybrid)

We are seeking a creative and organized individual to manage our digital presence. This role is primarily work-from-home, with the requirement to visit our clubhouse at Bukit Timah periodically to capture content during classes and tournaments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Create and design marketing collaterals including posters, brochures, and assets for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook

Multimedia Production: Shoot and edit short-form videos, reels, static visuals, and carousels

Content Strategy: Execute a consistent posting schedule (approx. 3 posts/week) including, but not limited to the following

  • Brand Vibes (40%): Capturing the fun and educational atmosphere of group classes

  • Authority (20%): Educational content on chess strategy and resilience

  • Awareness (20%): Engaging puzzles and interactive content to grow followers

  • Social Proof (10%): Showcasing student and parent testimonials

  • Conversion (10%): Promoting tournament calendars and camp sign-ups

Account Management: Monitor engagement, manage business accounts, and assist in setting up Meta/TikTok ads

Performance Tracking: Monitor basic analytics (reach, engagement, conversions) and suggest improvements

 

Requirements

Strong proficiency in editing tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop etc

Excellent written and grammatical English skills

A creative, proactive, and responsible work ethic

Knowledge of social media business tools and basic analytics

Experience with social media marketing and management

 

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Part-time, Flexible Work-from-Home. Must be available to visit the clubhouse (Bukit Timah) on certain days for event coverage.

Compensation: $600-800/month
