We are looking for a Marketing Intern (Social Media) to support in marketing matters. This candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager - Digital Marketing & Partnerships.
- Working Location: Ubi
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6.30 PM)
- Salary: Up to $1.5K
Responsibilities:
- Create and curate engaging and relevant content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content, aligned with the brand's tone and style.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns across various platforms, such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Schedule and publish social media content using social media management tools, ensuring consistency and timely delivery of content.
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and other relevant tools, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner, and engage with the audience to build relationships and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media activities with other marketing initiatives, such as email marketing, content marketing, and events.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, best practices, algorithms, and industry news to inform social media strategies and content creation.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks/projects that may arise from time to time.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a diploma or degree program in marketing, communications, or a related field, and/or interested in internships.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content for social media posts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with audiences on social media in a professional and friendly manner.
- Extroverted personality with a genuine passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong attention to accuracy and quality in content creation.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interest and passion for video editing, shooting high-quality content, and creating compelling videos.
- The ability and willingness to confidently appear on camera to present the content will be an advantage.
