Castlery is seeking an IT Intern to join our IT Department.
As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and supporting our computer systems, servers, and data security systems. Your role will involve ensuring that our internal IT infrastructure remains up-to-date and secure, contributing to the company's productivity according to company policies and procedures.
Join our team and play a crucial role in learning about and safeguarding our company's assets, data, and reputation from cyber threats. You'll assist in maintaining the highest standards of corporate IT across our global operations and contribute to improving our security practices continuously.
What you’ll need
- Polytechnic diploma or ITE certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in corporate IT or IT administration role
- Eagerness to learn and a passion for problem-solving.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist in educating employees on IT best practices.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing
- Gain experience in managing and maintaining organizational hardware, software, licenses, and networking equipment.
- Assist in setting up laptops and assigning access to employees.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities, including coordination with third parties if applicable.
- Assist in ensuring that our systems comply with internal IT security policies and participate in reviewing Corporate Security policies.
- Collaborate with facilities management to learn about implementing physical security measures at company premises to prevent unauthorized access and protect physical assets.
- Assist in performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company and/or your supervisor or manager.
