Job Summary:
As a Product (UX/UI) Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to be part of the team that creates an astounding user experience on our wide range of platforms. Using your design sense and technical capabilities, you will work closely with the product and engineering team to further improve on the functionality and digital experiences for our products.
What you'll do:
- Design web/mobile apps and websites, to solve meaningful problems for our users through simple, intuitive and easy-to-use solutions
- Develop a deep understanding of our users across our regional markets, through user research and usability testing
- Communicate and collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to build products as a team, through user stories, flows, and wireframes
- Work closely with the team to support UX/UI design efforts for new product launches
- Weave color, space, typography, iconography, and illustration together to help our users successfully navigate and use our products
- Prototype, test, and iterate on your designs rapidly, through high-fidelity mock-ups
- Delight users with designs that inspire, engage and excite them, based on user-centered design principles
What you are/have/will be:
- Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, InVision, Marvel, etc.)
- Highly collaborative and interested to work with a diverse group of passionate people
- A clean design aesthetic and basic understanding/knowledge of how design and engineering impact each other
- Energetic, a good communicator, and keen to learn and grow as a designer
- Inclined to pursue bold ideas, yet still willing to listen intently to feedback and maintain flexibility
- Ability to work independently and prioritize and manage work to meet the project deadline
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus
