CaptionCube – Editor – Malay

• Be part of the core team in upholding quality and standards in the work delivered to the clients
• Vet and edit of data transcripts in Malay based on project guidelines
• Work with the rest of the operations team to improve overall efficiency and quality of operations process
• You may be required to work from the client’s premise depending on respective projects’ needs

Requirements:

• Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality of transcribed material
• Possess transcription experience in Singaporean Malay preferred
• Strong language competency in Malay is highly desirable due to project needs
• Possess a keen sense of phonemic awareness - in other words, a keen sense of identifying and differentiating between types of consonants and vowels in speech
• Prior experience in International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcription (Malay) and/or background in Linguistics Studies would be a plus
• Track record for being reliable and committed to meeting deadlines 
• Meticulous and carry out necessary research/checks to ensure accurate and consistent spelling/usage of words
• Proactively communicate with fellow teammates to share updates and discuss any questions or issues
