BrickWorks, together with a public-listed training company, will be organizing an island-wide STEM-Robotics Camp in November during the school holidays. 

Current Projects in house:
. Preparing primary and secondary school students for National Robotics Competitions
. Conducting Robotics Holiday camps for Students island-wide
. Conducting Robotics Holiday camps for Foreign Tourist Groups


Job Description

Company requires 1-2 interns/part-timers to assist in the following special-projects:

1. Coordination of information dissemination to schools in Singapore
2. Preparation and coordination of documents in Word and Excel
3. Accumulation of Database of customers through web search and sales channels
4. Preparation of Event (weeks leading up)
5. Head of department during event proper / Assistant-trainer to Teachers during class


Reporting to Winston directly, interns are requested to have the following skills/attitudes:

Skills:
1. Very comfortable and extremely fast doing web search, compiling and pasting info into MS Documents
2. Extremely comfortable with Word/Excel and preferably Powerpoint, either software or on Google Cloud
3. Understand and execute basic emailing / report writing / proposal prep (alignments/phrases/grammar)
4. Familiar and comfortable with Phone Apps usage, storage, transfer, print-screen, cloud-storing and duplication
Attitude:
1. Politeness and Mutual-respect is a winner here
a. Being Punctual, and informing if not.
b. Responsible in creation/reporting/delivery of work.
c. Fix-it attitude, offering solutions to problems, rather than finger-point, dodging, lay-blaming or escapism
d. Working Fast, efficient, quick, speedy.
e. Open to communicate politely in the event of miscommunications, instead of 'cursing under breath and working unhappily', raising voice, sneering, sarcasm, or threats.
f. Open to unfamiliar job scopes, working styles, work requests which candidate has not encountered before.


Remuneration etc:

1. An allowance allocated monthly, based on quantity of volume of work that candidate can accomplish/complete
(This is ambiguous because we are unable to estimate number of hours a week candidate can commit to our projects) 

2. Allowance will increase monthly and peak in November during event period.

3. A small bonus will be allocated out of goodwill if candidate(s) performance is above-par and above-expectation after November's events are over.
