Company Profile

We’re a nonprofit startup! It’s like being on a new adventure everyday. You’ll get to wear many hats, tackle unexpected challenges, and see the direct impact of your work. In the age of AI, it’s increasingly important for fresh grads to be resourceful and resilient. This is the place to learn it first-hand. We’re a coaching organisation, so your personal growth matters to us (had a really good experience with the last YCCI batch). Oh, and our core work is to match students with success coaches.

Job Description

How can you tell if a programme is effective? Is it just to ask people to fill in a satisfaction survey at the end? No! If you think you may ever want to apply for a government grant or do consultancy work in future, this internship’s for you! Work under the guidance of a former head of MOE’s data analysis branch. A key programme you’ll be helping to evaluate is our pilot called Ride The Wave (hence the internship title), to encourage youth to navigate the ups and downs of life.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop hypotheses to test.
  2. Run primary and secondary level analyses.
  3. Draft a report and slides to present findings.
  4. Develop stories and case studies.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. To learn what a Theory of Change framework is, why the need to use it, and how to validate it.
  2. To gain experience in administering pre-post (online) surveys to youth participants and organising feedback gathering exercises.
  3. To pick up skills in analysing quantitative survey data and triangulate it with qualitative data to draw learning points.
  4. To be exposed to working nimbly in a nonprofit startup.
  5. To gain experience in applying a growth mindset and resourcefulness to everyday tasks.
