Break the Wheel Singapore is a nonprofit organisation empowering youth development through individualised coaching. We aim to empower students to pursue their goals by fostering self-confidence and self-discovery. Our core work is to match students with success coaches, to enable them to develop the mindset and skills needed to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. 

Social Media Manager for Nonprofit (Volunteer / Part-time / Ad Hoc)

We are looking for a creative and reliable Social Media Manager to help run our Instagram account https://www.breakthewheelsg.org/. This role is perfect for someone who wants to use their digital skills for good, build a portfolio, and work with a purpose-driven team.

Requirements:

• Singaporean only, as the job requires some knowledge/experience of being a student in SG. (Very sorry, we won’t reply to non-Singaporeans.)
• Experience in social media (please share your social media accounts when applying).
• Experience with Meta Business Suite to schedule posts.
• Able to create simple graphic designs (e.g. using Canva Pro - we’ll give you access, or use your own software).
• Good command of English - able to draft post captions without typos/grammatical errors, in the appropriate tone for youth.
• Reliable, able to work independently and meet deadlines, able to do a short phone call or respond to WhatsApp messages quickly.
• Knowledge of analytics for social media is a plus.

Job details:

• Post once a week. 
• Remote work / WFH.
• Commitment: 3 months for a start, with the option to continue.
• Design the graphic, draft the caption, along with hashtags. Adjust as instructed. Once finalised, schedule the post and update the internal tracking list.
• Monitor current trends and suggest content that rides on current trends.

Remuneration: $20 for simple single-graphic IG post and caption. Please propose your rate card for more complex posts. (Please ignore the "Pay Amount" default setting below).
