Job Description

  • Fabrication & characterization of chemical sensor devices 
  • Conduct literature survey on the state-of-the-art approaches for the fabrication of the devices
  • Conduct experiments for evaluating performance of the devices for various applications / use cases
  • Optimization of device operations via measurements and data analysis
  • Analyse and present the results to the project team
  • Writing of reports and preparation of presentations

 

Qualifications

  • Able to commit for 6 months
  • Undergraduate studies in Materials Science & Engineering or Chemical Engineering with Physics / Chemistry (Applied Science)Chemical Engineering
  • Laboratory hands-on skills
  • Independent learning and self-motivated
  • Basic knowledge of solid works is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of Labview programming is advantageous

 

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
