Job Description

Description:

We are looking for self-motivated and energetic business development intern to join our BD team in Singapore and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. As a BD intern, you will directly help the company increase sales through lead generation and conversion, sales tactics, and other corporate strategies. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills are necessary, along with the ability to work in a high- pressure team-oriented environment.

Ultimately, you will gain experience in business development for a growing early-stage startup and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies
  • Learn about the industry and execute how BOOQED provides a competitive solution for customers
  • Assist and work with Client Service team in managing account relationships, sales proposals, and converting client leads
  • Perform market research, best practices, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Support the BD team in revenue growth strategies from idea to execution
  • Explore the pain points of customers on calls or in person, understand their needs, and propose solutions in a "high value" and "consultative sales" style

Qualifications:

  • Energetic and highly motivated mindset, no fear in talking to strangers!
  • Willing to learn and implement sales processes and practices
  • Self-starter, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Not afraid to do what it takes to help BOOQED's customers
  • Currently in university
  • Passion to learn and test new ideas
  • You take your work seriously, but not yourself!
