Boogle – Software Tester

Boogle is the world’s first decentralised search engine where users are able to earn cryptocurrency as they search. Boogle Search Engine is built to be free from monopolistic control or jurisdiction restrictions on content. Its ranking and search data are stored on hybrid block chain, ensuring decentralized control over its data, with no single entity able to have control over it, or mine it for profits without the user’s permission. Founded in 2017, co-founders Patrick Lee and Darren Goh saw an issue with the way Internet giants was handling user’s data onto the internet. Boogle aims to roll out more products built on the hybrid block chain in the near future.

• Perform UAT testing, testing of internal systems/application
• Coming up with feedbacks and improvement from testing
• Documenting test results into bug tracking system and following through to resolution
• Develop test scripts and conduct UAT testing independently 
• Working with developer to resolve and debug issues
• Work with software developer for necessary change and update
• Retesting system again until it is good for official launch

Requirements:

• At least Diploma / GCE ‘A’ levels
• Basic coding knowledge
• Savvy in IT / Mobile application usage
• Working knowledge of data mining techniques or experience working on large administrative datasets would be a bonus
• Ability to conduct UAT testing / scenarios
• Open for a 2-4 months part time contract
• Available to join immediate on 24th October 2019 and onwards
• Students on vacation are welcome to apply
• Need to commit at least 6 hours per day, 3 days per week
