Job Description

BROAD FUNCTION

  • Provide merchandising support to the Merchandising Department.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Review and understand the technical worksheets, measurements and standard
    requirements of the assigned brand / customer.
  • Ensure mini sketches / construction sheets are done according to buyer’s
    specification and requirement.
  • Develop trims/accessories, prints, embroidery etc for submission, and obtain
    approval before buy ready or according to schedule for production.
  • Check on fabric, accessories & packing materials prices for preparation of cost
    sheets.
  • Ensure cost sheets are prepared with accuracy and review with Senior Product
    Developer / Manager.
  • Ensure samples are submitted in accordance to buyer’s specification and approved on-time.
  • Ensure all final templates for bulk use are sent to the respective departments within the required time frame.
  • Liaise with the different departments on day to day work.
  • Conduct meetings with Development and bulk production team to ensure that the correct garment construction is executed based on buyer’s requirement.
  • Perform other duties which may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.


JOB SPECIFICATION / MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma / GCE O levels or equivalent
  • Alternatively, 2 to 3 years’ experience in garment industry
  • Computer literate
