We are a subsidiary of our holdings company, set up to provide comprehensive estate planning distributions and allocation tools and training to clients. Besides Wills, Inter-vivo trusts, LPA and AMDs, we are also able to provide investment talks on private equities for the HNW individuals gleaned through our investment legal counsels. Together with some of our working partners, we aim to provide a holistic platform to serve the business community and the HNW community
Candidates who are chosen in the internship, will assume a flexible internship schedule of between 8 to 12 weeks depending on the candidate's curriculum. This internship will be classified into 3 areas:
1) Training
2) Work shops/Project/Case studies
3) Networking sessions (Online)
Suitable for students in Business/Accountancy/Finance/Economics/Law, candidates who partake in this program will learn from subject matter experts on the areas of
i) Unit Trust investment - Candidates will directly learn from a fund manager who currently manages an investment fund and who has amassed more than 15 years of experience in hedging techniques
ii) Investment in Private Equities/IPOs/M&A - These will be carried out in a seminar setting that allows candidates to understand more about the topic in the area. Candidates will not be exposed to any actual work during the internship in these areas, but will instead, be given an overview of the different scopes of work done in such transactions, which aim to provide valuable experience to the candidates who wish to specialize in these areas in the future
iii) Commercial Contract Law, Inter-vivo trusts, common business documents, estate distribution - these topics will be trained by a lawyer who has vast experiences in these areas. Candidates will understand private wealth management and distribution tools, such as the use of sophisticated trust structures in HNW community, which enables the candidates to have a greater understand of wealth management. Candidates will also be exposed to common business documents used in business settings to familiarize themselves
Workshops/Project/Case studies
Shortlisted candidates during the internship program will be given an opportunity to conduct investment research in an investment boutique firm/law firm
Networking sessions
Candidates will be exposed to risk managers, compliance officers, CFO and investment support associates, which are some of the common roles that undergrads in Banking/Finance/Economics/Law/Accountancy may take on upon graduation in the future.
