Singapore based, BMT Asia Pacific is a wholly owned subsidiary of the  BMT Group; a leading international multi-disciplinary engineering,  science and technology consultancy offering a broad range of services,  particularly in the defence, energy & environment, shipping and  ports & logistics sectors. Customers are served by a staff of around  1,300 professionals located in a network of international subsidiary  companies. 

BMT Asia Pacific provides worldwide engineering  consultancy services in the fields of International Shipping, Risk &  Safety, and Ports & Terminals Planning and Design. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate capabilities of leading consulting assignments independently or with moderate level of oversight and collaboration with more senior level professionals;
• Develop pre-feasibility and feasibility study reports;
• Develop concepts for marine and onshore infrastructure relating to import and export of hydrocarbons (LNG/LPG/Petroleum products);
• Develop functional specifications for infrastructure required in the concept;
• Develop master plan;
• Identify developmental risks during studies related to regulations, land ownership, environmental etc.
• Prepare cost and schedule estimates;
• Participate in preparing winning proposals;
• Develop project execution plan and communicate with all stakeholders;
• Participate in Project Site Assessment surveys;
• Contribute towards value engineering and superior solutions to clients;
• Prepare and review consultancy and construction contracts;
• Keen to participate and contribute towards developing innovative concepts;
• Close out the project methodically to the satisfaction of all stakeholders;
• Keen to learn and implement technology in workflow like GIS, 3D modelling, BIM, Data and Analytics etc.
• Prepared to travel to site in ASEAN region.
