Bizlink Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the disadvantaged individuals, in particular persons with disabilities, through training and employment in Singapore. Bizlink is a registered charity with the office of the Commissioner of Charities and is conferred the status of the Institution of Public Character (IPC).
Our vision is to be at the forefront in the provision of employment support to enhance the quality of life of persons with disabilities and the disadvantaged and empower them to lead fulfilling lives. We wish to empower persons with disabilities and the disadvantaged in achieving independence, dignity and inclusion into the society through training and employment.
Responsibilities
• To train and assist clients in community living, social/emotional wellbeing, and vocational activities
• To be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of clients
• To plan client’s training programs and activities
• Conduct 6 monthly client evaluations
• To educate clients on the social distancing measures
• Maintain clients’ personal hygiene by assisting them with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Handle toileting and incontinence care
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support/ITE Skill Certification in Healthcare or its equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Singaporean or PR only
• Preferred female staff
• Ability to speak mandarin would be an advantage to deal with clients
• Experience in training and working with people with disabilities will be an advantage
• Passionate, understanding and caring to serve person with disabilities
• Basic computer skills
• A team player and possess good interpersonal skills
• Remuneration and point of entry will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
