Bizlink Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the disadvantaged individuals, in particular persons with disabilities, through training and employment in Singapore. Bizlink is a registered charity with the office of the Commissioner of Charities and is conferred the status of the Institution of Public Character (IPC).
Bizlink’s programmes provide a variety of soft skills and on-the-job training that maximize opportunity for participants to reach their fullest potential. Our social enterprises offer a supportive environment for disadvantaged individuals and those with disabilities across several vocations.
Bizlink has been serving the disability community since 1986. Today, individuals, regardless of their disabilities and disadvantaged background, are enabled through work within an inclusive community.
- Candidate preferred from must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Social Science/Sociology, Psychology or equivalent.
- Required Skill(s): Passionate about helping others, Teamwork
- Carry out visits to the employer’s premises to understand about the job nature and accessibility of the work premises
- Communicate with employers to understand their requirements in hiring and explore possible placements for pwd.
- Conduct employment assessment on the candidate to determine suitability for employment.
- Maintain current knowledge of fair employment practices, policies, laws and regulations
- Source for suitable work placement opportunities for suitable candidate
- Work collaboratively with other team members like social work associates, professionals (eg occupational therapist, or social worker)
- Contribute to continuous improvement plans within catering operations
- Assist Operations team with regards to daily hours, schedules, productivity , quality and safety
- May be required occasionally to work on weekends.
Please note that for Diploma Holders the internship allowance is $600
