Job Description
YOUR ROLE AS CYBERSECURITY PROGRAMMER (Junior / Senior)
- Defining project requirements by reviewing project objectives, input data, and output requirements with stakeholders
- Arranging project requirements in programming sequence by analysing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic
- Encoding project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language
- Confirming program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes
- Preparing references for users by writing operating instructions.
- Maintaining historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
- Ensuring operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Creating/Maintaining workstation images and build new systems with standard imaging process
- Creating and maintaining automated application deployment packages.
- Developing software installation scripts
- Assisting support services in software installation package distribution troubleshooting
REQUIREMENTS
- General Programming Skills
- Problem solving & analysis
- Software: algorithm design, performance turning, design, debugging, development, documentation, and testing
- Fluency in Linux & Microsoft Operating Systems (platform management, software repositories, network configuration) with demonstrable scripting capabilities
- Strong background in desktops, laptop and Windows environment
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Excellent analytical skills and proven competency in problem solving
- Strong passion for coding is a must e.g. C#, C++, Java, PHP, Javascript, SQL
- Meticulous, responsible, a strong team player with 2 – 3 years of relevant experience
- Entry level IT diploma graduates / 2018 graduates with strong skill sets are welcome to apply
