Best World International – QC Inspector

Founded in 1990, Best World International is a Singapore headquartered company specialising in the development and distribution of premium skin care, personal care, nutritional and wellness products.

After listing on the Singapore Exchange in July 2004, Best World has grown in strides to become a key regional player, having entered into 12 markets in Asia and the Middle East. Best World also manufactures and distributes the Aurigen line of supplements in China through drugstores across China.

• Perform scheduled sampling quality inspections of incoming materials / products from external provider and outgoing products for shipping
• Conduct scheduled in-process inspection in the production line to ensure that quality, hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Reject & report to QC specialist / Manager for all products and materials that fail to meet quality specification and expectations.
• Assist QC specialist for any investigate for product-related non-conformance issue and recommend problem resolution
• Manage retention room for reference and post inspection samples
• Ensure QC Inspection Log updated for Inspection and Testing conducted
• Perform routine QC laboratory 5S maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or equivalent

Other Informations

• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control preferably from pharmaceutical, chemical or electronic background
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
• Understand basic laboratory equipment handling
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking counterparts
