Beijing Startime Telecommunications / Hongkong Broadband Satellites – Corporate Finance Intern

Requirements of the Corporate Finance Intern:

1) Must have native Chinese and native English bilingual skills, especially native Chinese reading skills

2) Must have finance/accounting background, double degree with law preferred (but not required)

3) Demonstrate initiative, willingness to learn, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail

4) Intern will need to execute an NDA prior to commencement of internship

Responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Intern:

1) Working closely/directly with and in support of the Chief Financial Officer in the financing process

2) Assist in summarising key Chinese contracts into English termsheet

3) Assist in refining and updating existing financial model as required

4) Support in drafting investment termsheets and other documents as required

5) Support in project debt financing process

Key knowledge/skills learned and benefits of internship:

2) Gain knowledge of satellite industry, Series A/B equity and project financing processes, financial structuring, and financial modelling/valuation

3) Gain mentorship and guidance/technical investment banking training directly from Chief Financial Officer (investment banker with 20 years professional experience)

5) If candidate demonstrates exceptional performance, this may lead to a well renumerated full time corporate finance analyst position upon graduation
