Boat Advisory Services Co (BASCO) was created to provide innovative services to leisure boating clients through three divisions:
- Buying
- Selling
- Maintaining their boats.
The way boats are bought, sold, shared and maintained is changing and BASCO provides boat owners with sales and marketing services to sell their yachts faster, and prospective boat owners with the BASCO Boat Buyers Academy, with trusted and independent advice on how to buy the right boat at the right price, without costly boat buying mistakes.
This is an exciting 6-month sales and marketing internship open to both Singapore residents and overseas students. Singapore has a 6-month Work Holiday Program visa available to nine countries, so if you are studying in these nine specific countries - Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States and Singapore, you are welcome to apply. We regret that due to our new company, we are unable to hire from other countries other than those listed above.
The BASCO internship has two main aims:
1/ To provide experience in innovative marine/boat related online sales and marketing systems that are changing the pleasure boat industry business model for buying and selling boats.
2/ To work alongside the sales director to assist the with the management of hundreds of enquiries that are generated by our world class marketing and sales funnels.
The work location is in Asia’s finest marina club, One Degree 15 Marina Club, at Sentosa Cove, Singapore.
You must like boats and not get sea sick as some work will be carried out on boats docked in the marina, so previous boat exposure is an advantage.
- Enquiry and lead management and activity allocation
- Tagging of incoming enquiries generated from all marketing channels
- Allocation of leads into the correct sales pipelines
- Ensure that the correct automation (emails and followups) have been sent out
- Set up contact details for WhatsApp/Messenger contact
- Follow scripts and SOP's for initial reach outs via Messenger and WhatsApp and set up followup automations and actions
- Keep sales pipelines up to date and in order
- Send monthly reports and emails to clients on progress of their yacht sales
- Prepare proposals for new clients with boats under marketing/management
- Assist the sales team with ad hoc requests
