We are looking for a talent to join our Asia Pacific Corporate Communications team as a content writer intern.
The objective of the Corporate Communications – Content Development/Writer Internship program is to provide students or fresh graduates with the opportunity to expand upon their academic foundation - specifically their technical skills, their knowledge of the corporation and their familiarity with a corporate environment. This program will introduce the intern to Barry Callebaut, as well as the Corporate Communications group. Over the last four years, we have worked with talented interns from various educational institutions.

Responsibilities:
Working with Corporate Communications Asia Pacific and other team members to support in our content development. Your tasks will include:

  • Creating a wide range of content such as short stories and features for internal and external engagements
  • Researching and organizing facts and sources – to develop content that is innovative and original
  • Interviewing sources (including employees, customers, etc.)
  • Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with the team for new content ideas
  • Building a following for our brand on social media with creative content
  • Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple channels (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree student/holder
  • Preferably a background in mass communications or journalism
  • Highly proficient in English writing and verbal communications
  • Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. Twitter and Facebook)
  • An ability to consistently demonstrate our values of insight, hard work, and effectiveness in your personal approach to work;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn;
  • An ability to remain calm under pressure and a robust/resilient attitude towards challenges; An ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times and minimal fuss; and
  • Collaborating with functional managers and creative teams
