Job Description

We are looking for a young talent to join our Asia Pacific Corporate Communications team.

The objective of the Corporate Communications Internship Program is to provide students or fresh graduates with the opportunity to expand upon their academic foundation - specifically their technical skills, their knowledge of the industry and their familiarity with a corporate environment. This program will introduce you to Barry Callebaut, as well as the Corporate Communications group.

Responsibilities:

What will you be doing?

Your primary tasks (for the first month) will include:

  • Managing and maintaining media database
  • Post-processing photos, including selecting, editing, tagging and archival.
  • Reviewing video assets, including selecting and archival
  • Provide input on system governance and workflow
  • Participate in team and project-related meetings

Your secondary tasks may include (depending on the length of internship):

  • Assisting in the development of a corp comms resource webpage.
  • Assisting in the creation of visual communication collaterals for website, internal and external communication needs and Social Media.

We are not looking for a guru – just someone willing to show your skills and produce quality work.

What is it going to be like working with us?

On a day-to-day, you will work directly with the corporate communications team (and you will work in an office environment).

You are working in an MNC, so for many projects, you will be interacting with senior business leaders, spokespeople and employees from around the world

We are a chocolate company. Expect to learn and eat lots of chocolate! (Chances are, you are already eating some of the chocolates we have been producing for companies around the world)

Requirements:

We want someone that is familiar with Adobe CC apps (namely Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop) and can work on a Windows-based workstation (running MacOS).

Who are we looking for:

  • Nitec, diploma and degree student/holder
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Preferably some background in photography, design and videography
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Creative and flexible; able to add strategic input throughout the course of the project
  • Able to start immediately and intern for at least 2 months

We prefer someone that can work full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm) but if you meet the above requirements, we will seriously consider any talent that can commit to working part-time (flexible) during office hours. (We do not work on nights or weekends).
